We flew to Hong Kong with a couple of friends Melody and Brendan. We had a good couple of days with them.
It was good to have people who were relatively new to Hong Kong as it meant that we made a greater effort to do things … even revisit the places we had been to many years ago (to find they have changed). Without them, we would have done the minimum as it was somewhat a familiar city to us. We easily filled two days with time at the markets, massage, reflexology and eating.
And of course … Hong Kong’s best value entertainment, ie. a night crossing of the harbour on the Star Ferry which gives you an absolutely spectacular view of the city ablaze with neon … for about EUR 0.20.
