Took a short flight today, departing at 1015 from Washington DC to Boston, flying over New York. The deforestation was heartbreaking! Yeah, that’s the kind of things westerners when they see documentaries of Borneo, Sumatra and the Amazon when they live in concrete jungles themselves.
Landing at 1146, I made my way to the old city area to meet up with my Couchsurfing host, David. We had a little bit in common and had nice chats and meals.

- In the US, it is a requirement for airlines to tell passengers where their plane was assembled … so on the safety info card, it says Brazil. So what if you don’t like it? Too late?
