It was an early start for me in Dubai to catch the 0710 Emirates flight to Sana’a. Upon landing at 0900 Marie met me at the airport and took me to her new school where she had a room for the night. She had just arrived the night before.
Unfortunately this time in Yemen, we were homeless. Marie had given up her flat in Old Sanaa a few months back while she returned to France. She now has no flat of her own.
Fortunately in the course of the day, we managed to get a kind offer from Kristina for us to stay a few days.
