Having had such a great day yesterday on the bikes, we wanted more. We had heard that it was market day at the next town and that would make a nice little outing. But while waiting to go I wandered around Zabid a little first.

While waiting to go on our outing, I walked around Zabid briefly.

At an old school, I was amused by the word “God” encased by the star of David.

There are three goats on the bike. As for cows, I managed to count only one on another bike.

We called into a banana plantation on the way back to Zabid. It was lovely and green unlike most of Yemen, because of irrigation.
