We picked up a rental car today to tour the sights outside of Adelaide. First stop was Mt Lofty Summit to get a birds eye view of the city and surrounds. Next was nearby Hahndorf, pretty German town.

The highlight of the day for Kim was the National Motor Museum at Birdwood which had an impressive collection of cars and motorcycles.
Driving north through the barren landscape (three year drought, I understand), we reached the Barossa Valley … home to many famous vineyards. We dropped in to see Jacob and Wolf at Jacob’s Creek and Wolf Blass to sample a few of their wines before heading back to Adelaide.
