With last night’s accommodation fiasco, we weren’t overly enamoured with Murree. There’s not that much to see and certainly we couldn’t justify another night of hotel at an exorbitant rate. After a walk around we grabbed breakfast. There were lots of flies buzzing around; as my meal came first I got Marie to fan the flies away as I ate.
We then walked downhill to the General Bus Stand to find transport to Abbottabad. I had to ask for directions a little. As I’ve mentioned, English isn’t great around Pakistan and I drew a confused look from a soldier when I asked for the General Bus Stand. Perhaps he thought I was looking for his superior, the General, by the name of “Bastan”? LOL!
