We landed in Kuala Lumpur International Airport about 30 minutes late around 2110. I made my way to KLIA2 by train to experience my first capsule hotel stay. Without luggage, I managed to make a reasonably speedy exit.
I never expected that my initiation into the capsule hotel experience to be in KL! Necessitated by the fuel crisis, my night flight had to be changed to a daylight one with a nightstop which allowed me nearly a full night sleep. Talk about creating a favourable outcome from a crisis!
I checked in for my Container Capsule bed at 2145 and with a 9h slot, had the bed till 0700. I slept OK. It wasn’t the best as there was some noise from people coming and going.
