I had a relatively early start from the apartment to get to the airport for the 0950 flight to Singapore. Being a weekend, I was being cautious in case it was difficult to get a Grab car. But it was all too easy and I ended up having an hour to kill landside before going airside, since there is very little to amuse anyone on the international airside of Kuching airport.
As usual, AirAsia got us there early. I have a two night stay with my old aunt who is nearly 90 years old. It was depressing to watch her go downhill. A few years ago she was swimming 20 laps in an Olympic pool but now she is shuffling instead of walking.
