Pretty soon, it was time to head to Queenstown airport for Jo and I to fly back on the 1505 flight to Auckland. While distancing was in place at the airport and on board, normal inflight service of coffee, tea, water and cookie had returned since our flight few days ago.
It had been a nice little break in familiar ole Queenstown. But for the first time, I’ve done some of the adventure experiences that have placed Queenstown on the global tourism map. Prices had gone through the roof over the recent years due to the tourism boom. Thanks to Covid-19, they have plunged and I don’t think they will ever be this cheap again. If you have the time and the means, come and experience it all soon.
