We woke to a glorious day with a maximum of 28 degC. Having come from MIQ with limited fresh air, I now have all the air and space that I could wish for.
It turned out to be two days of doing very little. I sat down lots to enjoy the view and the sunshine and did less walking that our previous here.
Brent’s hot water heater had broken down which meant that the shower in their campervan wasn’t useful. Both days we swam/washed in the lake. Today, with the strong sunshine, the water was cold but refreshing. A day later, with strong cloud cover and cooler weather, it was certainly chilly. But days, I didn’t regret the wash and felt better for it.
The day ended up with very strong wind. Inside the tent, I couldn’t sleep well due to the noise, sometimes thinking it was raining. Quite strangely, the wind died down very suddenly next morning around 0700.
