I woke early today to drive to Nelson Airport before 0800. My 1040 flight got me back to Auckland a little earlier than the scheduled time of 1205. I grabbed a sandwich to eat while waiting for the shuttle to pick me up, to take me to my car parked at the Heartland Hotel.
I was pleased to have made the trip without catching Covid-19 or having to isolate as a result of having been in close contact. I hadn’t even re-visited some of the other beautiful places in the Golden Bay area this time. I look forward to my next visit, perhaps next summer.
