We spent the day with our hosts at home then visited them at their business, Fagan’s Café. The café is located in the building that was once the town’s grocery store. So, it a significant place in the town’s history. In the afternoon, we took a drive to the next town of Lawrence. We finished the day treating our hosts to dinner at the local pub. They had warned that the publican was a little grumpy but we got away lightly.
