It appears we’re finally in holiday mode, after three weeks into the trip. We slept till 0840 and didn’t leave the apartment till way after 1100.
First up, it was the ruins of the Roman baths. We didn’t pay to enter but just looked at them from outside the fence.
Next we visited the St Nicholas Church located in the central pedestrianised area. We killed time walking around the pedestrian malls and gardens until we felt ready for lunch. We returned to the place serving pre-cooked options as they were tasty and well-priced.

Checking out the sea today, all the seaweed had disappeared. It’s quite amazing how they can come and go so suddenly. The water very clear and inviting today.
We returned later in the afternoon and rented an umbrella for shade. I had four dips in the water today. The sea here is definitely warmer than in Constanta and the sand whiter. I guess that’s the reason it is more heavily touristed.
We finished the day with a simple dinner in from a kebab shop.
