After exploring the sights around Al Hait, I took the wheel as E wasn’t feeling well. I wasn’t used to driving on the right-hand side of the road and sometimes ran into the textured line on the side of the road. This would wake him up and aggravate his headache.
I handed the wheel back to him as we approached Hail. We got to the Night For You hotel around 1430. It was a very nice spacious room, just what we needed for the poor sick boy to have a good sleep for about 3h.
He seemed better after the rest and felt like dinner. We headed out around 1800 for an Indian dinner. It has become clear that my travel companion and I share the same taste in food, amongst lots of other things. We even share the same love for leftover curry for breakfast!
E seemed to perk up quite a bit after dinner and was happy to drive around town to the two sites, namely Qishla Palace and the hilltop A’arif Fort. As both were quite similar to what we had seen elsewhere, we decided to move on.
We found a pharmacy that had sold E’s migraine medication. He thought that what happened today could have been a light migraine attack. A serious one would have total incapacitated him.
With some medicinal safeguard purchased, we headed back to the hotel around 2030.
