We arrived into Singapore around 0300, ahead of schedule. It had been an excellent flight but it got so cold that I had to put on my puffer jacket.
I had taken two sleeping pills and slept most of the way, having found that one didn’t quite work. The variety that I’ve been given is no longer available and this new one made my arms and legs feel weak and floppy when I woke up to prepare for arrival.
I did more work in the lounge before eating a very good fish asam pedas there. The fish must have been huge, as the pieces in the bain marie were as big as two fists put together.
The connecting flight to hometown Kuching got me there at 0810. At the airport to meet me was my sis and bro-in-law who were visiting from Guernsey.
With the early arrival, I was able to do lots of housework to get the apartment clean for my week-long stay. I can be such a machine at times; despite waking up before 0300, I was still active and alert till 2200 when I fell asleep.
